Will AI change child and family social worker work?

AI might organize a public resource directory or interview questions. It cannot replace assessment, judgment, or a verified referral. Keep client histories out of an experiment, follow agency privacy rules at work, and use professional procedures for safety concerns.

With a fictional case only, build a directory of public family resources. Verify eligibility and update dates at each official source. Do not simulate assessment of a real child or collect personal histories.
Try a small, fictional part with and without an AI draft. Note what saved time, what you had to correct, and what remained impossible to judge without context or permission. If a task involves safety, clients, pupils or confidential data, keep the experiment entirely fictional and follow professional rules.
